This study investigated whether an experimental method called attention bias modification could help prevent a new episode of depression in people with a history of depression, compared with a sham (placebo-like) procedure. It enrolled people who were not currently depressed but had a history of major depression based on the MINI interview. It was conducted as a non-phase study and has been completed.
