This study examined how SGLT-2 and DPP-4 inhibitor drugs (Empagliflozin, Dapagliflozin, Linagliptin, Saxagliptin) affect low-grade (subclinical) inflammation of the genito-urinary tract and the risk of infections in patients with type 2 diabetes. People with type 2 diabetes whose HbA1c was between 7% and 9% could take part. This study without an assigned phase has been carried out and is completed.
