This study examines the viscoelastic (stiffness and elasticity) properties of the upper limb muscles in individuals with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD); it is an observational study with no drug or treatment given. Individuals with a genetically or biopsy-confirmed DMD diagnosis and family consent can take part. It is a study with no assigned phase and is enrolling participants by invitation.

Inclusion Criteria: * Individuals with a genetically or biopsy-confirmed diagnosis of DMD. * Individuals for whom family consent has been obtained Exclusion Criteria: * Individuals with orthopaedic deformities, trauma or surgery in the upper extremities * Individuals with serious cardiopulmonary complications * Individuals with another neurological disease that may affect muscle tone
