This study examines the relationship between genetic predisposition and surgical removal of the adrenal gland (adrenalectomy) in patients who carry a specific genetic variant and have high blood pressure (hypertension). Patients who previously participated in the SCAPIS study and have this genetic variant along with hypertension may take part. This is a study without a clinical phase and is enrolling participants by invitation.

Inclusion Criteria: * patients that participated in the SCAPIS study * patients that have a particular genetic variant * patients that have hypertension Exclusion Criteria: * patients who do not want to participate * patients who cannot give consent * patients who are too sick to be operated
